"We could not approve this undertaking under present conditions if we were not profoundly impressed with the need of prompt, intensive, moral and spiritual training in the education of our boys, the men of the future . . . While the service will be better and more spiritually rendered by a choir trained in proper surroundings, yet an infinitely greater value to the community would be the unusual equipment for important service furnished to the most promising boys we can find anywhere."
