Noel Ancell, M.A, B.Mus. (Hons), B.Ed, F.T.C.L.,M.A.C.E
The leader of the Australian Boys Choir is the eminent Australian conductor and educator, Noel Ancell. Noel has more than thirty years experience training singers to achieve excellence in choral music.
Originally trained in Adelaide as an organist, he is well-known throughout Australia and internationally as a conductor, composer and teacher.
Noel is deeply committed to contemporary music and has been responsible for commissioning several new works by Australian composers.
Noel currently holds the position of National President of the Australian National Choral Association (ANCA).
